Nobody really knows her except her best friend Mandela.

Kat is said to be mean. So I picked the dragon (1) as a symbol for her because dragons are believed to be mean, too.
Furthermore I drew identical flowers (2) except one which stands for Kat. She wants to be different and dislikes doing what people expect her to do.

The next thing is a line which is split into two lines (3) so you can read “between the lines” and that’s exactly what Kat likes to do: reading between the lines, analyzing people.
But it is also true that she can't see herself clearly, so I took a picture of her (a picture of the actress, actually) which is covered by a question mark (4).

This picture represents a pig swimming in money (1).
In my opinion a pig is the best discription for Joey Donner's character and money is this pigs best friend.

Joey Donner is one of the main characters in the story. On the one hand he is a boy with good looks but on the other hand he is a macho driving his car through the streets. He is of the opinion that money can buy everything. But in the story he gets to know that love can't be bought.

The plus (2) in the picture is a symbol for the fact that Joey Donner and money are inseparable. And the result is a big, fat pig greedy for money.


The second picture shows Kat and Bianca.
The girl who is sitting on the cage is Kat (1), and the girl who is imprisoned in the cage is Bianca (2). Kat is quietly sitting on the cage with a key in her hands.

The key (3) is a very important symbol in this picture. The "magical" key represent freedom of Bianca, and also her first date, her first kiss and her first boyfriend.

But the key alone can't open the cage. Kat has to do that herself. If she dates, the cage will open. Only then will Bianca be allowed to date too and have a boyfriend.
In the beginning Kat is not interested in love and boys. She is different from the other girls.
